Sanjay Singhania, a wealthy businessman, becomes a patient suffering from anterograde amnesia, the inability to form new memories, as a result of a violent encounter. He is unable to remember anything for more than 15 minutes. To overcome this, he begins taking photographs and making tattoos of people and events on his body, in order to remember them. He sets out on a quest to find his attacker and avenge the death of his love interest, Kalpana. As he gets closer to the truth, he discovers shocking secrets about his past.

As he sets out on a quest for revenge, he discovers that his memory loss has also caused him to forget the love of his life, Kalpana. Determined to find her and avenge her death, he delves deeper into the past, uncovering shocking secrets about his own life.

As Sanjay's search for the truth intensifies, the action and thrills in the movie keep the audience at the edge of their seats. Aamir Khan's portrayal of the amnesiac Sanjay is nothing short of impressive. The chemistry between Aamir and Asin, who played Kalpana, was one of the highlights of the movie.
